About
A new beginning. A new start. Discussions at delawaresnature.net will surround day to day activities in the Delaware River Valley. Ramblings will concern outdoor adventures in this beautiful region of New York, as well as other outdoor pursuits.
My interests include cycling in the area, kayaking, hiking, and photographing the pastures, farmlands, and scenery on my front doorstep. This blog will document these pursuits as well as some that are more technical.
I am currently the math / science chair and coordinator of academic IT at The Family Foundation School (FFS). I also teach chemistry and photography at the FFS, and was previously a college chemistry professor for seven years in the Hudson Valley, in New York State. I have also spent ten years working in industry, for a major computer manufacturing company doing quality engineering and technical work. Photography has been my hobby since I was eight years old, and I have been hiking and cycling and enjoying the outdoors since I was a small child.
Follow my wife Ann, and myself on our explorations! Let us know what you think! We’ll enjoy hearing from you.
